*Reflections*

It seems like no matter how many times you turn on the TV or read a newspaper, they’re always talking about some stupid political malarkey or some unnecessary news bulletin about famous female singers who can’t be left alone. The cool thing is that we still have a lot of integrity and a big point of wholesomeness left in the entertainment world. Even if it’s underground.
The trick is you have to be able to spot it. And once you see it, grab onto it so tight and don’t let go of it. Cause underground isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s actually a good thing. It reminds us to stay true to yourself. It reminds us of why we do what we do especially if it’s not ruled by the mighty dollar, even though we need money.
The thing that sucks about it, is that there’s never enough money trees to go around. But hey lets face it, you don’t really need money to be happy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I’m perfect cause when I was younger I could have easily got caught up in the greedy evil, but I was too prideful and had to much integrity to get pulled into that idea. It’s probably why I haven’t made a whole lot of money playing music.
The funny thing about that is I’ve had people actually tell me that if you want to make a lot of money in the music business and be successful, the idea of loyalty is thrown right out the door. To be honest with you it’s a load of crap! Because if you want to last in this business or if you want to last period as a human being loyalty means everything. Especially in relationships.
Hey I don’t know everything but I know a lot and I’m still learning, in fact not too long ago I learned a lot about myself on levels I didn’t even know existed. That’s the funny thing about growing up, you don’t have to grow old. You can definitely grow gracefully. I mean lets face it we all make mistakes, that’s just who we are, we’re human beings for crying out loud.
I mean hey no one is perfect. When it comes to perfection ,we can come close, even the ones who have it down to a science have their moments. For me when it comes to music I wouldn’t say that I am a perfectionist, but I’m pretty close. I don’t like to have anything half assed because I take what I do seriously but not seriously.
As most of you can tell by the website and the balance of the content that is presented, balance is definitely the key to be happy and healthy. And with that balance comes having a sense of humor. I guess you could say laughizka pretty much sums up the importance of having a sense of humor and how important it is to laugh at yourself. It’s kind of like the idea of the beer drinking song without the alcohol being involved. The thing that I learned is that if you can laugh at yourself, you can get through just about anything.
