A Very Special Thank You

In most of the albums we include a thank you page to all those people who helped and inspired us to create and finish our projects.

We would like to let everyone involved know how special your contributions are and how much it means to us. Chances are good that without your support we may have never brought a lot of these projects to completion.

I know that without the support of my parents (and for them allowing us to use their house) most of the projects that Jason and I did would have looked much, much different. I still can’t believe that they allowed us to tape somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 bundles of newspapers on the walls of the upstairs hallway. That and run through it with a fan and fog machine setting off the smoke alarm and sending the cats into a panic running in all directions.

And a special thanks to my father who even after all of our weird shenanigans felt concerned enough to come check up on us when we were editing using just headphones. Apparently us not making an unusually large amount of noise meant we might be in some kind of trouble and he wanted to make sure we were ok. “You boys all right in here? I didn’t hear any noise, I wanted to make sure everything was ok.”

Then there’s my brother guy who on many occasions donated his time and efforts to our projects. For all of you reading, he’s the one that gets hit with the shoe, run over by the car and chased down the hallway in Jason’s first music video “I don’t get it”. And for those of you who are really paying attention he’s also the guy holding the giant cookie and the huge steak on the cover of Jason’s self titled album.

Also a huge thank you to Guy’s wife Roxanne for not skinning us while we were making noise in their garage for over a week.

And we’re glad that Jason’s dad didn’t sue us after his cartoon guest appearance on “Devour the Joy”. Yes that’s right we actually made a cartoon of Jason’s dad and we don’t think it’s strange. He wouldn’t let us tape him so we had no other choice.

And to all the countless others who contributed to our vision and allowed us to use their property as well as donate their time, thank you. And thank you for not calling the police when you saw us running around at 2am with a camera and making all kinds of noises and laughing.

Despite the non-supporters out there it’s nice to know that there are still people who believe in us and our dreams. We are forever grateful and when we finally make it, we’ll still be that way.
